Filipa Frois Almeida (Halle, Germany, 1981) is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Porto.
Between photography and architecture, as practices of artistic intervention, she moves between agonistic relational systems, between the self and the other, time and space or life and death. Open to experimentation, her work process crosses different media and materialities, embracing aspects such as vulnerability, chance and error.

She has a degree in Architecture and has a degree in photography from Imago Galerie Berlin and a Master's in Artistic Photography from IPCI. She is co-founder of the creative studio FAHR 021.3 with Hugo Reis, which, by combining the disciplines of art and architecture, seeks to rethink and redefine space. In 2024, she will be studying for a PhD in Fine Arts at the Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto.
